Q: Where should notarized documents for authentication or apostilles go?
A: As of 12/1/2005, documents notarized by a North Carolina notary no longer go to the county Register of Deeds for certification before submitting to the state for the authentication or apostille.
Q: What are the requirements for supporting documents of foreign entities?
A: Supporting documents must be dated within the past 6 months. If they are not available online, or not from Delaware or North Carolina, the original document is required.
